Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
Wesley Taylor was born in New Bern, NC. He graduated from West Craven High School in 1996. Wesley received his license to preach in August 2002 and was ordained as a Free Will Baptist Minister in February 2006. He continued his education and received a Masters degree in Christian Education from the Carolina Bible Institute and Seminary. Wesley and Courtney were married in September 1999. They do not have children, but consider the children of the church as part of their family. Together, they enjoy the outdoors - hiking, fishing, and gardening.
Wesley is an avid cyclist and enjoys participating in charity bicycle rides for MS, cancer research, and Wounded Warriors events. Wesley is also a bee keeper. He enjoys visiting schools to share the important role of honey bees in our ecosystem.
Some of Wesley's favorite verses are:
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee: and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.“
“…for such a time as this?”

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
“I can do all things thru Christ which strengtheneth me.”
1 John 4:4
“…because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
