As Christians, we are to have empathy for those suffering. We are to show love and kindness for those going through hard times. Our outreach ministry does this by sending cards, preparing meals, creating "thinking of you" bags, and making phone calls. When life seems bleak, sometimes, a person simply needs to know that someone is thinking of them and loves them.
ISAIAH 117 HOUSE
HELP US TO SUPPORT THE ISAIAH 117 HOUSE OF JOHNSTON COUNTY
This house is being created to support children awaiting foster care placement with a safe and loving home. It will be manned by volunteers who will provide for and love the children until they can be placed. This wait may be a few hours or could be a few days. Currently, the children are taken to a child welfare office and have to wait in the office until placement can be made. That can be very traumatic to a child that has already suffered removal from their home.
Come to our Lemonade Stand for some of the BEST Lemonade and to receive information about Isaiah 117 House!
