10 And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him. 11 When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed. 12 And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted. This message will detail the upcoming events and schedule of services at St. Mary’s Grove Church as we begin the transition back to normal operations at our church and as we schedule services around a much deserved vacation by Pastor Wesley and Courtney June 5 - 13. The deacons and pastor have met and discussed this schedule at length. It does not cover the complete transition back to normal as there are some parts of our services that may not resume until a later time to be determined. This schedule will hopefully be included in the next newsletter and can be posted on our church website. St. Mary’s Grove will proceed in the next few weeks as follows: Sunday, May 24 - Drive-in church services beginning at 10:30 am. People are allowed to sit in lawn chairs if they prefer however all other normal precautions are still in effect. Wednesday, May 27 – On-line Bible Study by Pastor Wesley at 7:00 pm as per the past few weeks. Sunday, May 31 – Sing-spiration service at 10:30 am followed by picnic lunch – Everyone is invited to come to church this to hear a short devotion by Pastor Wesley and enjoy some outside gospel singing from several individuals / groups followed by a picnic lunch on the grounds. Bring your lawn chairs and a pack a picnic lunch for your family and come enjoy some good singing and fellowship using social distancing practices of course. Wednesday, June 3 – Quarterly business meeting to be held in the church sanctuary at 7 pm. Families may sit together for this meeting, otherwise we will ask people to use social distancing criteria as you are entering, as you are seated, and as you are leaving and to practice all preventative measures. Please wear your mask if you desire. Sunday, June 7 – Pastor Wesley will bring us a message on Facebook at 10:30 that morning and at 7:00 pm in the evening. However there will be no drive-services that day and no services within the sanctuary. Wednesday, June 10 – Bible study will be held in the sanctuary utilizing social distancing criteria and all other preventative measures. However this meeting will not be streamed on Facebook. Sunday, June 14 – We will return to typical drive-in church services on that date at 10:30 am. The service will be live on Facebook and posted to our web site as we have been doing. Sunday, June 21 – We will return to the sanctuary that date for a message at 10:30 am however there will be no Sunday School services until further notice. Everyone that attends, with exception of families, is asked to follow social distancing requirements and all other preventative measures as you enter, as you are seated, and as you leave. This service will be streamed live on Facebook. We understand there may be some who may not feel comfortable returning to church according to the above schedule. We fully understand and that is no problem.
